Product Description Inspired by the lush vineyards of Tuscany, Lenox has created a taster's collection of full-lead crystal stemware that permits each type of wine or spirit to be fully and exquisitely appreciated. Each delicately balanced stem is designed to capture the soul of a particular beverage, allowing you to enjoy it to the utmost. Full lead crystal
Amazon.com Review Invoking the spirit of Italian vineyards, Lenox has created the Tuscany Classics line of stem- and barware with elegant proportions and beautifully balanced shapes. These oval-shaped Grand Bordeaux glasses are structured specifically for the medium- and full-bodied bouquet generally found in Bordeaux wines. They add visual and tactile pleasure to your drinking, while providing adequate room for wine to develop. Crafted from full-lead crystal, the glasses stand 10-1/2 inches high, hold 26-1/2 ounces each, and sound a lovely ringing note during toasts. Lenox includes a lifetime replacement policy with the set. Washing by hand is recommended. --Emily Bedard

Red wine Classic...best buy November 16, 2008 Stephen DiGiacomo (Miami Florida) If you want a great looking, very useful wine glass; this is it.
Fine lines, thin crystal and the price is great. I was so used to spending at least $100 per stem on fine crystal, these are $10 each and believe it or not, if you register them with Lenox, I am told they have a replacement guarantee...Unbelievable.

Fine quality glasses January 20, 2008 Internetshopper (New York) These glasses are beautiful! If you like the big glasses they give you in the fancy restaurants when you order red wine, you'll love these. People who come over always comment on how the like the wine glasses. I prefer these to the other name brands out there. Be advised they are very tall and wide (in case storage is an issue). The only con for me is that you have to hand wash them. My husband and I love them so much we hand wash them rather than use a different glass we could throw in the dish washer.
Awesome feeling but stems snap way too easily December 27, 2007 Stephan Woditschka (Madison, Wisconsin) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Let me preface this by saying that these glasses are massive and feel awesome in your hand. I was so excited when they arrived and enjoyed drinking out of them tremendously. When I towel-dried the first glass, the long and thin stem snapped almost instantly and I was down to three glasses. I figured it must have been a fluke and used a new glass the second day. Being extra careful, I washed and dried this one successfully. During hand-washing the glass the third day it broke. Just as the first glass, the center of the long stem is simply too thin. Any kind of torque applied during washing or drying by hand will break the glass. Now the remaining two glasses are sitting on my shelf collecting dust. For me, this purchase was a complete waste of money. Maybe if you machine wash them you'd be okay. I hand wash and dry my Waterford wine glass every night without problems. I really liked the longer stem and goblet shape of the Lenox glasses but I'm two for two in breaking them.
Great Glasses July 15, 2007 R. Rundio (Suisun City, CA) Bought 3 sets (of 4) of the grand bordeaux glasses. These are great. They feel nice and they are a good size. I went to a department store and handled all of the comparable glasses from a few different manufacturers. These felt the best for the money. I'm sure the top of the line riedels would be better with a much larger price tag. For the money, these are great glasses. The return policy for broken glasses is nice. It won't save you much money but it would be nice to simply return one when it breaks instead of buying 4 brand new ones.
Giant Wine Glasses March 25, 2007 olgavision (venice, CA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
These were a gift, and my sister found them a bit too large for her purposes. Otherwise, they're quite marvellous.
