I'm quite happy with my Magic Decanter Red Wine Aerator, even if it didn't come with the travel bag as advertised (must be a common mistake, other reviewers have commented on this). The price is better than the better known "V" product, but the aerator seems to be exactly the same. One simply pours the wine through the aerator into a decanter or wine glass, and there you have it.

I was surprised in the difference of taste from using the decanter to not using it. I will continue to use the product on different types of wine to taste the difference. I'm really enjoying my purchase of the decanter.

Only a few people explained how this made the wine taste worse. I didn't believe the. Now I do. It leaks. I've tried pouring slowly, tilting, lighting Séance candles. Wine drips out the holes that are supposed to be pulling in air. The product purports to do the exact opposite. Save your money and drink your wine from a real decanter.

The wine aerator works exactly as advertised, and results in a smoother tasting, aromatic quaff. First, the travel bag is kinda silly, and I have little need for the sediment filter. Most important, though, is the aerator itself - it looks good, is very easy to use, and works like a dream. Just pour the wine through the cup-like entrance, listen to the burble as air is drawn in (due to venturi-effect), then sample a better tasting, smoother glass of wine.

I have heard about these wine aerators. I was hoping that this one would work as well as the "name brand one I have read about" My friend has a Vinturi and I appears that this Magic one works just as well. Plus the price is alot better!
